Trace has a very nice style compared to most other guys his age. He often wears nice, dressy pants with a nice button up t-shirt. Sometimes he'll wear a tie with it, but not too often. He just likes dressing nicely and looking nice. When he's just hanging out with his friends, he'll usually wear a pair of jeans with a comfortable t-shirt. He'll also sometimes wear a flannel button up shirt.
Trace has always been a person to be very people-orientated. He may not be the most socialable person in the world, but he stills loves the company of other people. He might not speak up too often, but he's still always around others. When he does talk, he usually talks about whatever he wants and it still often catches the attention of others. He can talk all day and night about his personal beliefs that he believes in more than anything else. He's very fun to be around and is always fast moving. Some may think he's a boring person, but they just have to actually get to know him to get him to talk. Even so, Trace has a terrible judgement of things. He's very spontaneous, always doing things whenever he feels like it or the chance comes up. He never stops to think about what he's doing. He's also very suspicious and paranoid about things around him, sometimes thinking he can't truly trust his friends. He can also be dishonest and easily able to lie to people around him.
Trace Joel was born to an alcoholic mother and drug abusing father in the poor part of Barfield. His mother was always passed out on the couch while his father was busy trying to buy drugs from his friends. Trace didn't know any other way of life besides staying quiet and hidden in his home away from his parents. His grandparents on his mother's side would often visit them, but they too were alcoholics just like his mother. At the age of seven, social services finally come into his world when they took Trace away from his parents and put him into foster care.
Soon enough, Trace was finally adopted by a rich family in Lebeaux who were unable to have children of their own. Over the years, he had two younger siblings and an older sibling, all of whom were adopted. He did very much care for his new family and always spent time with them. His adopted parents treated him far better than his actual ones, and he loved them for that. He always said that if it wasn't for his new family, he could be living a hard life in foster care without anyone who actually cared for him.
For his first few years in high school, many of his classmates would hang out with him simply because everyone knew his parents and who they were. It didn't matter who Trace was - only that his parents were completely rich. However, after a while, Trace grew tired of all of the annoying fakes he spent his time with. He stopped talking to them entirely and began hanging out with other people. He didn't realize it at first, but these others were all into drugs. He knew how badly it had messed up his biological parents, and he thought it was a terrible idea. He still hung out with them all the time, but he usually avoided their drug antics. However, after a year of knowing them, he gave in to peer pressure and ended up joining in on their fun. He doesn't necessarily like weed, but he's definitely into alcohol whenever they do have that.
Trace doesn't actually remember his biological parents too much. He remembers their names and what they kind of look like, but it doesn't really matter to him anymore. He doesn't actually consider them to be a part of his life anymore, so he avoids talking about them at all costs. They're not his family anyway.
Trace's two adopted parents - or the ones he actually considers to be mom and dad - are both very caring towards him. He does really like them a lot. When they adopted him, they immediately made him feel like part of the family. They did hire a nanny who stayed with them ever since he was adopted, but his parents did still hang around and be a part of his life.
After Trace was adopted, they adopted another boy who was just a year older than Trace. The two got along very well and became really close siblings. He also has two younger siblings, one of whom is a girl. The younger brother is just two years younger than Trace while his younger sister is seven years younger than him. Even so, the siblings are all pretty close to each other.
idk whenever losers decide i'll add this in
